Every vendor tells me their onboarding is world-class. What is your NPS, what is your activation rate, and if you cannot tell me — why are we talking?
The question a Chief Experience Officer (CXO) asks.
The short answer
No NPS baseline yet — pre-launch, and I will not invent one. The NPS and adoption instrumentation is already built and running, so from customer one the numbers will be real.
The full executive answer
I cannot tell you, and I will not invent them — we are pre-launch, so there is no NPS baseline and no activation cohort to report. What I can show you is that the measurement machinery is already built and running, which is more than most vendors at this stage can say. NPS capture is live in-product with the standard methodology — promoters nine to ten, detractors zero to six, computed deterministically and unit-tested — so from customer one, the number you ask for exists and is honest. The adoption analytics module tracks activation and engagement per team from day one.
Why are we talking? Because you are evaluating a founding-customer opportunity, not a mature vendor, and the economics reflect that: founding customers get priority support with a named contact and four-business-hour first response, direct founder access, and genuine influence over the roadmap — the public changelog and roadmap transparency are already live surfaces. The honest trade is early-stage risk for outsized attention and influence.
And I would gently flip the question: the vendors who quote you a 72 NPS rarely show you the sample size or the survey mechanics. We built the instrumentation before the marketing claim. When we have the number, it will be real — and if it is bad, the same instrumentation will tell me exactly which journey stage is failing.
Grounded in: Net Promoter methodology implemented natively (promoters minus detractors, −100 to +100); Kirkpatrick level 1 instrumentation-first posture.
