Time-to-first-value: from the moment I start a trial, how long until someone on my team sees an insight worth forwarding to the CEO?

The question a Chief Experience Officer (CXO) asks.

The short answer

No empty screens — sample data from first sign-in, a six-step guided tour, and a diagnostic that produces a board-forwardable maturity verdict within the first week of a three-seat trial.

The full executive answer

Our target is the first session, and the onboarding is engineered specifically for it. A brand-new organisation never sees an empty screen: we seed deterministic, clearly-labelled sample data — sample risks, sample records, all flagged as samples and never mixed with real data — so the product feels alive from first sign-in. A six-step guided tour then walks the user through the scorecard, roadmap, risk register, co-pilot and board reports, deep-linking to each real surface rather than showing screenshots.

The first genuinely forwardable artefact is the SOVEREIGN scorecard: your team answers the diagnostic and gets a weighted maturity verdict — from CRISIS to EXCELLENCE — calibrated to industry and size, with every score traceable to evidence. For a focused team that is achievable inside the first week of a trial; the diagnostic itself is the main time investment, and it is your team's thinking, structured. Before anyone even signs up, there is a no-login narrated product tour on the public site, so an executive can preview the whole arc in ten minutes.

And the trial is designed for exactly this test: three seats, enough for a sponsor, an operator, and a sceptic. The guided journey rail keeps them oriented — Set up, Feed data, Diagnose, Direct, Operate — with a next-best-action prompt at every stage. Honest caveat: because we are pre-launch, "median time-to-first-insight" is a metric we have instrumented but do not yet have customer statistics for. The design intent is first-session wow, first-week forwardable insight; the measured funnel is what the early-customer phase establishes.

Grounded in: Kirkpatrick level 1-2 logic applied to onboarding — reaction is instrumented from the first session, and the diagnostic-completion milestone is the "learning" gate that predicts retention.
